Due to great demand, I will tell the story of Brit Bee, Queen Bee, Miss Odd, and me in London. I have pictures somewhere, but they aren't electronic and I don't know where they are to scan them.
Once upon a time, Brit, Queen, Miss Odd, and I just happened to be in London at the same time. And we just happened to all attend a celebrity, charity footie match at Chelsea FC. In attendance, in addition to us, were 20,000 screaming 12-year-olds. For the record, they were screaming, "Robbbbbbbbie! [Williams]" Anyway, the tourney featured six-a-side or similar. Players included: Damon from Blur, Gavin from Bush, Rod Stewart. I think this might have been Soccer Six at Chelsea, but I'm not quite sure what year this was. At any rate, we had brilliant views of the musical men in action. We were so close, they could have sweated on us. (No, not really, but pretty close.) Damon and Gavin looked awesome out there, but Rod looked a little old for the footie. I'm just saying.
Later, Brit, Queen, Odd, and I found ourselves in a pub in Hampstead. A man came up to chat with us, and he bore an uncanny resemblance to Robin Williams. (No, not Robbie Williams.) Robin offered to fly several bees to Dublin (where he was from). And he claimed to know Bono. At any rate, Brit and I have a picture with him, and his scary, bright red, Robin-Williams-looking face appears between us.
And that is the story of the Bees encounter with Bush, Blur, and Robin Williams.
